We collect only what is necessary to complete your commission and deliver it to you:

• Contact information — your name and email address, used to deliver your song and communicate about your order.
• Story details — the personal information, memories, names, places, and details you choose to share in the story intake form. This is used exclusively to write your song.
• Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. SongSocial Co. never sees, stores, or has access to your full card number or financial information. See Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
• Communication records — any emails you send us regarding your commission, used to service your order.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide for one purpose: to complete your song commission. Specifically:

• To write your original song from the story you share
• To deliver your song, lyric sheet, and studio note by email
• To communicate with you about your order, revision requests, or delivery
• To process your payment through Stripe

We do not use your information for advertising, marketing lists, or any purpose unrelated to your commission. We do not send unsolicited marketing emails.

Your Story Is Confidential

The story details you share with us are treated as private creative material. We commit to the following:

• Your story will never be shared, published, or referenced publicly without your explicit written permission.
• We will not use your story as a sample, portfolio piece, or promotional material without your consent.
• The names, places, and personal details in your story are used only to write your song — never to identify or describe you in any other context.
• If we ever feature a customer reaction or testimonial, we ask for permission separately and specifically.

Who We Share Information With

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. The only third party that receives any of your data is Stripe, which processes payments on our behalf. Stripe is a PCI-compliant payment processor subject to its own privacy policy.

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or valid legal process — in which case we will notify you to the extent permitted by law.

Data Retention

We retain your email address and order correspondence for as long as necessary to service your commission and respond to any follow-up requests (such as a revision or redelivery of your song). Story intake details are retained only as long as needed to complete the commission. You may request deletion at any time by emailing us.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information after your commission is complete
• Withdraw consent for any optional use of your data
